Within my setting we look at the Reggio Emilia approach, however i think that we could look more into the process of how things happen with the children. From the start of planning and taking pictures to the process throughout and then looking at the end result. I think that this will be a good point to make in my staff meeting about the importance of this not only for us as practitioners but also for the children to see their work as it moves through the process.

Reading this makes me feel sad that they go through these emotions and struggle. I think their should be support groups to help people. But this is such an amazing read!
This shows me that parent partnership is very important and very much needed when looking at children with SEND because some parents may not understand who know how to support the child. So information should always be passed on and having meetings would be very beneficial.

Within our setting we are really good at listening to the children, we make sure they have finished what they have said before trying to ask questions about what they are talking about. I think this is good practice as the children then take this on board and do the same thing when they are talking to their peers.

Communication is always positive when talking to the children and the staff members are always using positive words whilst in the setting.

This is my peer to peer observation on a colleague who looked at the 5 senses UTW.
Here is a peer to peer observation on myself from a colleague observing EAD, mixing colours.
