    I found myself rather unsure of this tool at first but after investigating the aims and viewing several videos I became really interested in it. Gena Davies has several free videos on YouTube.

    Im attaching a link to an example demonstration that I thought was really very engaging.
    Check out Rainbow bucket at Riverside School (and they’ve lots of other info to share for SEND).

    Thanks for this Arlene.
    We use Shared Attention at my setting. I haven’t done any formal training and have just picked it up from the other members of staff. It is a really fabulous tool.

    Hi Nicky, this is what I learned, no formal training is necessary; just a lot of stage presence. I have at least one child in mind that could benefit. Keeping them in a chair from September will be a challenge for reception. After yesterday’s lessons it would be reasonable to reframe then as an externaliser.
