    From Early Education 24/08/20:
Virtual Nature School is a free resource for early childhood practitioners and children up to 6 years and their families including older siblings if they’d like to join in. It is funded by the Scottish government and delivered by Dr Claire Warden through Living Classrooms.

“I miss you Brown Bear” is a book for children who are missing someone very much due to a long separation or bereavement. Due to Covid 19 many children have been separated from parents and grandparents for a long time or have lost people that they love. This book gives an opportunity to talk and ideas about things that might ‘help a little bit’. Author Jilly Keast is offering this as a free ebook downloadable from her website: https://jilly-keast.wixsite.com/jillianjohnstonarts/book

    From the Education Endowment Fund:

    Nuffield Early Language Intervention

Update (Aug 2020): The Department for Education is currently working with the EEF and other delivery partners to make Nuffield Early Language Intervention (NELI) available to state-funded primary schools at no cost. This will be funded as part of the Government’s £350m allocation to tutoring, through the £1bn Covid-19 ‘catch-up’ package announced in June 2020.
